I happened to be at the garden center where I picked up my bamboo the other week and I have a look at the same bamboo that I bought...but had been in the sun all summer. You know what? Its cracked like mad....all over the place. I dont mean little cracks either...I mean ginormous cracks...apocolyptic cracks.
This worries me as my Gaia Cart is planned to be in the sun ...alot. I dont want any crack-tastrophies.
So...I am going to switch back to making it with PVC. Its not as environmental....but a human powered vehicle is still quite up on the enviro-scale any how.
